Wellesley-in-Shanghai takes students to historic sites and cities around Shanghai. In the past, professors and students have gone to Zhouzhuang and Suzhou. Students can also travel on their own after the program.

its silk and gardens.

of the East."

Embroidered slippers, stunning paintings, and interesting snacks can
be bought at little
shops sprinkled throughout Zhouzhuang.
Homes and shops are situated on
the canals that run through the city.

of which are made from stone.
