Wellesley-in-Shanghai
takes students to historic sites
and cities around Shanghai. In the past, professors and
students have gone to Zhouzhuang and Suzhou. Students can also travel
on their
own after the program.

from classes to go to Suzhou, the city famous for
its silk and gardens.

Students take a boat ride down the canals of Zhouzhuang dubbed the "Venice

be bought at little
shops sprinkled throughout Zhouzhuang.

Homes and shops are situated on
the canals that run through the city.
