Stacy Sneeringer is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Wellesley College. Stacy received a BA with University Honors from Wesleyan University in 1997. She completed her graduate work at the University of California, Berkeley in 2005, where she received an MA in Demography, an MA in Economics, and a PhD in Economics.

She has been a member of the Wellesley faculty since 2005. Her research mostly focuses on health and environment, and the intersection of these. Topics include 1) the effect of pollution on infant health in the U.S., 2) health effects of hospital access, 3) effects of environmental legislation on firm size.

Stacy teaches four classes in rotation: Econ103: Introduction to Probability and Statistics; Econ203: Econometrics; Econ232: Health Economics; and Econ228: Environmental Economics.
