The Consortium Members of the Child Care Policy Research Consortium are carrying out research in eleven states (Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon and Wisconsin). Consortium researchers come from Columbia University, Florida International University, Harvard University, Linn Benton College, Oregon State University, University of California at Berkeley, Wellesley College, and Yale University. The consortium also includes private research organizations, federal, state and local social service administrators, employers and not-for profit organizations. The Consortium is designed to increase and strengthen the capacity for cross cutting research on critical issues affecting welfare recipients and low-income working families. Dr. Pia Divine of the Child Care Bureau coordinates the activities of the Consortium.
