About Facilities Management

The more than 150 dedicated individuals whose work is represented here are charged with providing and maintaining an attractive, efficient, safe and supportive campus for the students, employees and visitors of the College.

We are currently focused on a number of exciting and important initiatives all with an eye toward planning for and creating a better organization and campus. These include:

  • The refocusing and expansion of our service systems and techniques
  • The exploration of aggressive new energy management practices
  • The pursuit of a more sustainable understanding and operation of our campus
  • An ever more accessible environmental health and safety program
  • A number of exciting capital projects

Day to day responsibilities include custodial services, a wide range of maintenance services, grounds care, motor pool services, utility supply and all environmental health and safety related services.  The organization is also responsible for the planning and coordination of all capital construction on the campus.
