| | Wellesley-in-Vienna Curriculum Outline Full-Year Option Students elect eight courses from the following options.
Students will receive eight Wellesley transfer credits for these eight courses.
- Courses offered at the University (no fewer than six*)
- Core Course, offered by the Resident Director (max. 1, always in spring semester)
- Language course offered at Wiener Internationale Hochschulkurse (max. 1)
For more information, see the University of Vienna website. * With the permission of the Resident Director, one course may be taken as an independent study under the direction of the Resident Director and a member of the German Department. Normally these are done by students who have internship placements. One Semester Option

General Guidelines - All of the courses will appear with grades on the Wellesley-in-Vienna transcript, which will be appended to the official College transcript. They will also appear on the official Wellesley College transcript as Junior-Year-Abroad courses without grades and are not counted toward the GPA.
- No credit is given for courses taken in Vienna that are taught in English.
- Students must submit their preliminary course selections at the beginning of each semester to the Resident Director in Vienna and notify the Program Director in the German Department of their final decisions.
