Insurance Information

Students with Commercial Insurance: Please make sure we have an updated copy of your insurance card.

Wellesley College offers College insurance through our agent Gallagher Koster. The insurance coverage is provided by United Health Care Student Resources.

Gallageher Koster Insurance has provided an FAQ list for Wellesley College students. This helps to describe enrollment, benefits and how the plan works.

Do you need more than a month's worth of medication while traveling abroad?
Contact Gallagher Koster, the college insurance plan and request a Vacation Override Form. Plan ahead as it may take several weeks to process your request. Students with private insurance are encouraged to contact their insurance company directly regarding how to obtain more than a month's supply of medication.

Students with college health insurance can have prescriptions filled at any Caremark Pharmacy (CVS and Brooks are participating Caremark Pharmacies). For a list of participating pharmacies, visit the Caremark FAQ page.

PLEASE NOTE: Our clinicians are not HMO providers with Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Therefore, we do not process claims with BC/BS nationwide. Students are responsible for payment of charges and can forward information to their insurers for reimbursement. If you have any questions please call our Billing Coordinator at x2811.

Taking Care of Your SMILE!!

Oral health is an essential part of a student’s overall well being. We know that not all students come to college with dental coverage and would like to provide information about a low cost option for students.

Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BUGSDM) is offering a Student Dental Plan that focuses on preventative care and includes basic emergency care. This plan, which was started in 1986, is available to full time and part time, undergraduate and graduate students.

The registration for the plan is simple and can be found online. There are no co-pays, deductibles, paper-work or year maximums to be concerned about. This wonderful public health opportunity is available at a cost of $299 per year or $259 for the second semester.

For more information and to register, please visit the BUGSDM web site.

When registering, please use the following code : WCHS
