Allergy Injections - Student Instructions and Resposibilities

Wellesley College Health Service offers allergy immunotherapy to those that need
weekly / monthly injections.

An initial allergy visit must take place with a Wellesley College Health Service clinician prior to starting injections. Contact Health Service at x2810 for an initial appointment and instructions for your visit.

Injections can be given during our clinic times:
Tuesday 2:00pm-3:00pm
Wednesday 1:00pm-2:00pm
Friday 2:00pm-3:00pm

  • Plan to be here for at least 20 minutes after the injection for observation
  • We will need a release of information to communicate with your allergist at home
  • You can schedule an appointment for follow-up visits
  • Have your allergist mail your serum to us or bring it with you when you come in for your initial appointment

If students are unable to make our clinic times, we have been working cooperatively with area allergists to arrange for students who need to have allergy injections administered.  The allergists who have agreed to accept our patients include:
