Positions in the Library vary considerably and there is a niche for everyone. Students play an essential role in Library operations, both in public positions by working directly with the Wellesley community, and behind the scenes, learning about the inner workings of the Library. Depending on the position, students may have opportunities to hone their technical skills by working with different computer systems and products, use their foreign language skills, learn hands-on skills with conservation techniques, work with unique materials and rare books, set up exhibitions, and prepare materials for circulation.
