Irene Stiver Scholarship
Fund
The generous
supporters of the Irene Stiver Scholarship Fund
have made it possible to offer a limited number of full and working
scholarships for the upcoming JBMTI training programs. These scholarships
are designed to support the participation of individuals serving
low-income or underserved populations who would otherwise not be
able to attend these events. Individuals from diverse backgrounds
and experience are especially encouraged to apply.
To apply for
a scholarship:
1. Email
or mail your request identifying the specific program you wish
to attend.
2. Include your contact information, e.g., address, phone, email,
etc.
3. Briefly
describe your background, experience, and current work situation,
e.g., the population you serve or other relevant information.
If you are currently a student, please briefly describe your program
and the population you hope to serve in the future.
Full scholarships
cover the total tuition fee for an event. However, recipients of
full scholarships must be responsible for transportation, accommodations,
and other personal expenses.
Working
scholarships provide 50% off the
regular tuition. Recipients of working scholarships attend all presentations
while assisting with the set-up, registration, clean-up, and other
program logistics.
Scholarship
requests are reviewed regularly. We will respond
to your request as soon as possible.
