WCTV

All studio footage is recorded to tape during the day and broadcast over WCVN Channel 8 in the evening. Footage includes: news packages produced by Wellesley students, and national and international footage provided by NECN and CNN.

The work produced in the studio includes, By the Lake and Blue Politik.

By the Lake is a news program focussing on current on and off-campus news and events. Past anchors include: Christianne Klein '00 and Sarah Korvitz '01. Current anchors include: Jessica Desvarieux '06 and Elena Legeros '07.

Blue Politik is a current affairs program originally hosted by Regina Garza '04. Guests include College faculity and students.

WCTV students have also sponsored a lecture on TV journalism by Wellesley and WCTV Alumna Christianne Klein '00, currently the prime-time news anchor with KUTV Salt Lake City, Utah.
