"Wellesley is . . ." introduces the rich variety of people who have contributed to the community culture that is Wellesley College.  Each image is married to text, often a quotation from the individual pictured.

This is a web exhibit of the "History Wall" that was installed in the corridor adjacent to the Archives on the fourth floor of the Margaret Clapp Library from July 2002 to June 2005. Although the groupings reflect the original exhibition, objects within each group have been arranged differently for the web exhibit. Photos of Sarah Frances Whiting (Professor of Physics), Eleanor Franzen Churchill (Class of 1911), and Shayne Gilbert (Class of 1988) did not appear in the original "History Wall" exhibition.
