For each $100 gift to Honor with Books, the Library will place a bookplate bearing the name of the person you are honoring, as well as your name, in a newly purchased book. Gifts are tax-deductible.

Bookplates chronicle the many gifts that have benefited the Library since its founding in 1875. Today's students and faculty experience the pleasure of making an immediate connection to Wellesley's rich history as they pause to read the bookplate's inscription.

The Wellesley Friends of the Library was
re-established in the mid-1980's to provide alumnae, faculty, students, and community supporters with an avenue for learning more about library services, collections, and facilities and for becoming more involved in a
