GoDIG
|
| Since its inception in 1990, GoDIG has provided a forum for documents librarians to address a broad range of government information issues. In addition to the Regional Depository collection at the Boston Public Library, GoDIG includes fifteen federal depository libraries throughout New England established between 1859 and 1979, the State Library of Massachusetts, and several Commonwealth of Massachusetts depository collections. While providing access to government information via electronic media such as the compact disk and the Internet, the documents collections housed in BLC member institutions preserve the public record by maintaining vast and rich historical and contemporary print, microform, and map collections. GoDIG also has a listserv for the use of its members. For additional information, contact the Co-Convenors: Gail Fithian, Boston Public Library (617) 536-5400, ext. 2226, or Linda Johnson, UNH (603) 862-2453 |
