Hobbies and Interests

One of my current interests is tracing my father's paternal ancestry. In the past three years of doing research, I have discovered that my eighth greatgrandfather, Richard Burt, was one of the original purchasers of the town of Taunton, MA. After remaining in the Taunton area for several generations, this line travelled to NJ, then western PA, eastern OH, back to the Pittsburgh and Philadelphia areas and here we are, back in MA again! I am continuing my quest, having a wonderful time amidst wills, deeds, and various other official documents.

Future projects include becoming more involved with Mary Hoyer dolls. I spent a large part of my childhood playing with the Mary Hoyer dolls my grandmother bought me. My dolls were properly outfitted thanks to the clothes my mother and my aunt lovingly fashioned from patterns
