Facilities

The Music Library is located on the second floor (ground floor) of the Jewett Arts Center, which is part of the Academic Quad.

The two floors of the Music Library provide ample study areas for group or individual study. Books and periodicals are located on the main floor, along with VHS and DVD videos, compact discs, other sound recordings, and several public PCs.

Scores, parts, vocal scores-- all printed music-- is located on the lower level, as well as a media lab and a photocopier (10¢ per page, coins or copy cards only). The media lab contains PCs, Macs, a printer, and players for CDs, DVDs, VHS videos, laser discs, cassette tapes, and LP sound recordings. The Macs are equipped with MIDI piano keyboards, and Sibelius music composition software is available campus-wide.

Wireless is available throughout the Music Library for the Wellesley community, and for visitors who configure their laptops for on-campus wireless access.

Jewett also contains the Music Department, Jewett Auditorium, Art Department, and Art Library.
