Find articles and essays

Ethnic NewsWatch WC Full text of newspaper articles from American ethnic, minority and native presses. Coverage is from 1991 onward. Includes the Korea Times and Asian Week. Although the focus is on Korean-American affairs, there are often articles about what's happening in Korea. Use this database also to find film reviews.

GenderWatch WC Full-text articles on women's social, religious, political, and health issues. Coverage is from 1974 onward. Includes the publications Korean Women Today and Asian Journal of Women's Studies.

Historical Abstracts WC is a database containing articles on world history since 1450, excluding the U.S. & Canada (1954 +).

JSTOR WCis a full-text collection of journal articles from the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. First issues are in the collection but not those from the latest five years. Includes the Journal of Asian Studies and Asian Survey.

LexisNexis Academic News WC is another full-text source containing news, business, legal, medical, and current events articles.(Yrs. can vary - 1980 +).Use this to find film reviews. Includes the newspapers, the Korea Herald and the Korea Times.

MLA International Bibliography (via CSA)WC has articles &/or abstracts on literature, linguistics, film, and folklore (1963+).

Project Muse WC is a full-text database with academic journals in the social sciences and the humanities. Includes the journal Korean Studies, 2000-.

Sociological Abstracts WC Use this database to find articles on gender, sex roles, etc. in Korea.

Wilson Omnifile WCis a primarily fulltext, interdisciplinary database. Includes the journals Koreana and Korea Journal.
