ATLA Religion Index via EBSCO WC
This index is a cumulation of three ATLA print indexes: Religion Index One (RIO), Religion Index Two (RIT) and Index to Book Reviews in Religion (IBRR). It contains thousands of citations, dating back to 1949, from international titles and multi-author works in the field of religion.

Index Islamicus WC
A bibliography of books and index of articles in periodicals on Islam and the Muslim world.

JSTOR WC contains a scholarly collection of journal articles that cover the major disciplines from the first issues of that journal but NOT the last five years.

LexisNexis Academic News WC Full-text of national and international newspapers, magazines, documents, wire services and more. None before 1980 and later dates will vary by title.

Literature Online (LION) WC
LION is a full-text literary database which also includes twenty different versions of the English Bible from the tenth to the twentieth century. To access this part of the LION collection choose Individual Literature Collections.

New Testament Abstracts WC
Includes indexing and abstracts for journal articles, monographs, multi-authored books, book reviews, and biblical software programs. All abstracts are in English, regardless of the language of the original work. The capability to search by specific scripture passages is useful. It is also available at the Clapp Ref CD-ROM Station and in print in Clapp Ref (BS 410 .N35)

Old Testament Abstracts WC
Includes indexing and abstracts for journal articles, monographs, multi-author works, and software related to Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) studies. All abstracts are in English, regardless of the language of the original work. The capability to search by specific scripture passages is useful. Periodicals Index Online (formerly Periodicals Contents Index/PCI) WC is an index to articles published in over 4,500 periodicals, in as many as 40 languages, and covering topics in the humanities and social sciences.

ARDA [Association of Religion Data Archives] is a data archive providing religious congregations' memberships, national profiles, surveys on religious behaviors, congregational life, etc.

ARTFL Project: Multi-Lingual Bibles WC
This project allows you to search for information in one version of the Bible and then link to the corresponding chapter in another language. There are four versions available: King James English, Luther German, Louis Segond French and Latin Vulgate.

Bible Gateway
This free service allows you to search the Bible in an online format. You can choose the version and the language.

BuddhaNet: Buddhist Information Network
Buddhanet is affiliated with the Buddha Dharma Education Association, Inc. and is an effort to make the Buddha's teachings freely available to all.

Catholic Encyclopedia
Maintained by New Advent, a Catholic website, the Catholic Encyclopedia helps define terms related to the Catholic Church, her teachings and the achievements of her members.

This electronic library allows you to read and print classic Christian books.

Ecole Initiative: Early Church History on the World Wide Web
This hypertext encyclopedia includes translations of Judaeo-Christian and Islamic primary sources to 1500. there are also short and long essays on topics relating to early church history and images of Iconography and religious art.

Guide to Early Church Documents
This is a hypertext document from the Institute for Christian Leadership which links to Internet-accessible files relating to the early church. These files include canonical documents, creeds and the writings of the apostles.

Image Database for Biblical Studies
This site is part of the Yale Divinity Digital Image & Text Library. You can browse or search the database for images which help illustrate the New Testament.

Institute of Buddhist Studies: Online Reading Room
This site has recent publications from the Institute of Buddhist Studies in PDF format.

JewishEncyclopedia.com
The Jewish Encyclopedia, originally published between 1901-1906, recently came into the public domain and is now available for free searching on the internet. This site contains the complete and unedited 12 volume set, which is also available at Clapp Reference at DS102.8 .J6.

The Koran
The Electronic Text Center at the University of Virginia provides this digital version of M.H. Shakir's translation of the Koran.

Muslim Life in America
Maintained and produced by the United States Department of State's Office of International Information Programs this site provides information about the Muslim-American community including web pages, readings and photo galleries.

The New Testament Gateway
This well maintained site from Dr. Mark Goodacre, Department of Theology, University of Birmingham, is a great place to look for information relating to the New Testament. The links are organized by subject and include: the Greek New Testament Gateway, Bible Translations, Historical Jesus and Women and Gender.

Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life [pdf] "seeks to promote a deeper understanding of issues at the intersection of religion & public affairs." The Forum focuses on religion & politics, religion & the law, and religion & world affairs. Check the left-hand side of the homepage for transcripts of recent events, survey results, and Pew's press room.

The Pluralism Project, Harvard University
This project looks at the religious diversity in the United States including many of the new immigrant religious communites. It also links to World Religions in Boston.

Rambi
Rambi is an index to scholarly articles on Jewish Studies mainly from the holdings of the Jewish National and University Library. The articles are in Hebrew, Yiddish and European languages.

Resources on Religious Freedom, Religious Persecution Abroad
This site is maintained by the National Council of Churches of Christ in the United Staes and provides information to help individuals and church communities respond to religious persecution. You can also link to the World Council of Churches which reports on human and religious rights.

Saints and Angels Page
Part of Catholic Online, the Saints and Angels page is the largest collection of its kind on the web. The Saints Index includes all known information for each of the Saints.

Web Sites for Jewish Studies
This site is maintained by the Princeton University Library and offers the user several links to web sites for Jewish Studies, including antisemitism, e-journals, the Holocaust, literature and more.
