1. Save a copy of your document to the computer's desktop. DO NOT work with a document from a disk or on the network.
2. Set the size of your image:
a) Open your image in Photoshop
b) From the Image menu, select Image Size. A window titled Image Size will open.
Towards the bottom of the window, make sure the box next to Constrain Proportions is checked.
In the Document Size section:
Click OK.
- Make sure the width and height menus are set to inches. Adjust the width and height to your desired size.
- The width must not be greater than 34 inches.
- Set the Resolution field to at least 150dpi and no more than 300/600dpi
3. Make sure the image you are printing has all the layers flattened. This will make the file size smaller and help the image print faster.
4. Save a second copy of your document to the desktop with the changes made for printing. Save the second copy with a new name to avoid copying over the original file.
5. Set the Paper Size and print your document.

Other tips and tricks:
If the paper size you need is not on the list, do the following:
To make sure your image will fit on the plotter paper:
In Photoshop, click and hold the grey box titled Doc at the bottom left of your document. You should see a white rectangle with two crossing diagonal lines. The white box represents the plotter paper. The lines in the square represent your document. If the white rectangle is inside the square around the crossing diagonal lines, your document is larger than the paper and part of it will be cropped off. You will need to increase your paper size or make your document smaller.
