Ernst Mayr Library of Comparative Zoology (Harvard)


The Wellesley College Science Library is an Organizational Member of the Ernst Mayr Library of Comparative Zoology. Prior to 1997, this library was known as the Museum of Comparative Zoology (MCZ) Library at Harvard University. Its collection includes extensive book and serial literature in animal behavior, ecology, evolution, marine biology, natural history, oceanography, paleontology, and systematic zoology.

The Library's Organizational Membership, on behalf of students and faculty at Wellesley College, makes several Borrowers Cards available through the Wellesley College Science Library each year. The Mayr Library Borrower's Card helps identify qualifiedWellesley College patrons and secure for them the following benefits, in support of course and research-related projects at the College:

The Mayr Library Borrower's Card is typically available for a 3-4 calendar days loan, and can even be reserved in advance through a special reservation calendar at the Science Library. Please speak to a Science Librarian or Science Library staff member on duty for further information.
