HIGHWAYS
Rogers, the architect, integrated two buildings (the old Sage Hall and the new Science Center) by means of bridges that criss-cross over the “Focus” area, the space between the brick Sage Hall and the new glass façade. This in-between space is a prime example of the integration and a collision of the old and new.

Agnes Chang: "I like the crisscrossing of bridges "in the sky". It reminds me of the highway system in big cities."
