Job advertisementWellesley College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the Mathematics Department, to begin Fall semester 2010-11. We are looking for candidates who have demonstrated superb teaching. The strongest candidates will have experience beyond the doctorate, have a strong research program, and show significant progress in their research. We value demonstrated ability to teach effectively and mentor students from diverse backgrounds.Wellesley College is a highly selective liberal arts college with 2200 students (www.wellesley.edu) and is located 12 miles from downtown Boston and Cambridge. The Boston area is home to many colleges and universities, including Harvard and MIT. The teaching load for this position is 2 courses each semester.
