WELCOME!



The Wellesley College Chamber Music Society offers an opportunity for small ensembles including strings, winds, guitar, harp, piano, harpsichord and voice to explore chamber music works of the last three centuries. Ensembles meet weekly with a faculty coach, and also rehearse independently. Throughout the year, participants present formal and informal recitals. Entrance is by audition. Players of varying levels of expertise are welcome, and all receive faculty coaching at no additional cost.

In the spring of 2008, there are 81 participants and 29 ensembles in CMS. Concerts are presented in Jewett Auditorium, the Pendleton Concert Salon, Houghton Chapel, Tower Court Great Hall, and TZE Society House.
