Education: B.M., Church music and voice, Westminster Choir College; Masters in Library service, Columbia University

Biographical Information: Wellesley Music Library since summer of 2000. Before coming to Wellesley, Head Librarian at the Manhattan School of Music for eleven years. At Westminster Choir College, sang in the Westminster Choir, which performed in the Spoleto Festival, both in Italy and Charleston, and with New York Philharmonic, Pittsburgh Symphony, and Boston Symphony Orchestra, among other orchestras, under Robert Shaw, Leonard Bernstein, William Steinberg, James Levine, Rafael Kubelik, and other conductors. Musical interests include American composers from the mid-19th century through the first half of the 20th century--from Louis Moreau Gottschalk to turn-of-the-century New England School composers such as Amy Beach and George Whitefield Chadwick, through Charles Ives, Henry Cowell, et al. Edited the score sections of "A Basic Music Library: Essential Scores and Sound Recordings," 3rd edition, American Library Association, 1997.
