Biographical Information: Busy freelancer in both jazz and classical worlds; jazz sideman with Mel Torm³, Cab Calloway, Art Farmer, Maureen McGovern, Rosemary Clooney, Illinois Jacquet. As a member of The Jazz Pops Ensemble, appeared as a soloist with orchestras around the country, from Southwest Florida to Fairbanks Festival symphonies. The group also performed many jazz concerts and festivals: Fairbanks Arts Festival, Highland Jazz Festival, Rockport Opera House, Pepe's in Pt. Barrow, AK, Worcester Jazz Festival, Heritage Plantation in Sandwich, MA. In the jazz rhythm and orchestral bass sections, performed and toured across the United States and in Japan and Korea. Other orchestral performances: Pro Arte Orchestra, Boston Ballet, Boston Lyric Opera. Also performed in "Miss Saigon," "Phantom of the Opera," "Porgy & Bess," "Les Miserables," "The Wiz," "West Side Story," "Beauty and the Beast," and for Charlotte Church and Bjork.

Radio and television performances: Ron Della Chiesa's "Music America," Nation Public Radio's "A Note to You," "The Good Day Show," "Evening at Pops."

Professional Affiliations: Faculty member at Wellesley College, University of Massachusetts.
