NECASL is comprised of seven selective liberal arts colleges in New England:

- Wellesley College
In collaboration with the New England Association of
Schools and Colleges, NECASL initiated an innovative assessment project exploring how students learn and how they make
important decisions about their academic programs.
General Project Goals
- Explore student learning in relation to institutional practices
- Better understand how students make important decisions to inform teaching and build cultures of inquiry
- Involve faculty more directly in assessment
- Share institutional research findings
