Wellesley College Activities:
As my title indicates, I am involved with a variety of projects
involving NMR, computers, and other advanced scientific instrumentation
throughout the sciences. I run the Wellesley College NMR/MRI
Center and am a resource person for the science departments here at
Wellesley College, supporting both classroom and research activities. My
principal research interests are in the development of new techniques for
NMR spectroscopy, magnetic resonance imaging and chemical shift imaging.
I participate in a number of collaborative NMR projects with members of
the faculty at Wellesley College. I have written instructions
for many instruments in the Science Center at Wellesley College.
|
Additional Interests and Activities:
I am an avid swimmer, biker, and cross country skier. I swim
at the Wellesley College pool at lunch time as often as I can, and ride
my bike on the weekends. I ski at a place called Garnet Hill in the Adirondack
mountains. It's a great place for cross country skiing in the winter and sailing in the summer.
