EDITORIALS are the opinion of the News’ Editorial Board. If unsigned, they represent the opinion of the majority of the staff. Signed editorials, however, are views of the specific author.

LETTERS TO THE EDITOR must be submitted by noon on the Sunday before publication. All letters should be addressed to the Editor and should be no more than 500 words in length. All letters are welcome. However, due to space limitations not every letter received can be printed and letters over 500 words may be edited. We reserve the right to edit any and all material we receive. Letters will be printed on a first-come, first-serve basis. The News will not print letters that have previously appeared on open FirstClass Conferences, including Community.

ADVERTISEMENTS to be placed in The Wellesley News must be received by noon on the Sunday before publication. Ads for SOFC-funded organizations are free, but due to space constraints, no guarantee is made of their publication. These ads can be dropped off outside the News office by noon Sundays. Paid advertisers can call the News for rates. We reserve the right to refuse to run any ad.

CLASSIFIEDS are $2 for students, faculty and other members of the Wellesley College community. Payment is due at the time the classified ad is placed. Mail to the News office, or place in the Advertising Manager’s box outside of the office. Off-campus classifieds are $15 for the first 30 words, $ .50 a word over 30 words.

SUBSCRIPTIONS may be obtained by sending a $30 check payable to The Wellesley News. Subscriptions are for one academic year. Call for rates after the year has started.
