Le GAP (Guide Aix-Paris)

Wellesley-in-Aix provides participants with an exhaustive guide to their year or semester in France: Le GAP (Guide Aix-Paris). This 70-page pamphlet contains detailed information about every aspect of study and life in Paris and Aix, including schedules of coursework and cultural activities in Paris, a discussion of major differences between French and American universities, university calendars, maps of the faculté in Aix, tips on daily life in France, recommendations for inexpensive restaurants, and practical advice on changing money, travel in France, doctors, pharmacies, cafés, cinemas, libraries, cellphones, laundromats, tipping, the postal service, taxis, and renting bicycles—among many other mundane but critical details of life abroad.  Le GAP will be sent to students approximately two months prior to their departure for France.
