Transport & Visa
TRANSATLANTIC TRAVEL
The program arranges a round-trip group flight to Paris from Boston-Logan International Airport. Students depart Boston together but may schedule their return from France individually at the conclusion of their program. Participants who wish to travel independently will receive a refund in the amount of the per-ticket price the program pays at the group rate. This refund will be issued at the end of the semester when students submit proof of travel to the office in Wellesley.
VISAS
Participants must apply for passports on their own. Wellesley-in-Aix will apply for visas on their behalf; visa fees are included in the program’s comprehensive fee. Students who have non-American passports may face special requirements, and may need to apply for their French visa on their own. Students who have passports issued by France or another country of the European Union do not need a visa to study in France. Participants who have dual nationality will need two passports—one from the European country to enter France, and an American passport to return to the U.S.
