Wellesley College Programs
Wellesley administers or has a special relationship with a range of study abroad programs which have been developed to meet the needs of the Wellesley student in particular. These programs offer curriculum which complements our on-campus offerings and provide students with an ease in application and credit transfer that is difficult to duplicate elsewhere. For a complete list of Wellesley sponsored and affiliated programs, click here.

Other Approved Study Abroad Programs
In addition to the Wellesley programs, student may select a program which suits their academic and personal interests from a list of more than 100 programs and foreign colleges and universities. These programs have been reviewed and approved for Wellesley credit by the International Study Committee, to ensure that there are opportunities for students in every major world region and in every major academic discipline offered by the College. Students who select an approved non-Wellesley program submit applications to the Office of International Study and are subject to the same academic and financial policies that are in effect for the Wellesley programs. For a complete list of approved study abroad programs, click here.

Petition Programs
In some instances, students will have specific interests or needs that cannot be met in one of the College's pre-approved program options. In this case, the student may request special permission to enroll in an appropriate program. Students who are considering this course of action should contact the Office of International Study for more information.
