Wellesley College Department of Philosophy: About

Founders Hall Contemporary philosophy tackles a vast range of questions. Some of these questions are as old as the subject itself—How should I live? What can I know? What is the world like?—while others reflect our historical development and current situation—Do we have moral responsibilities to the natural world? How does the mind work? What are our political obligations to citizens of other countries? How should we draw the line between free speech and hate speech?
