TIPS - Take Interest in Public Safety

Welcome to the Wellesley College Crime Prevention TIPS (Take Interest in Public Safety) Page. In this section of our web site, you will find several pages of useful information to help you and your friends avoid becoming a victim of crime, both here on campus and when you're away from the College.

The TIPS Page contains a series of one-page information sheets, or tips, that you can review online or download to carry with you. The TIPS sheets provide you with the most critical information you need to keep yourself safe - and they give you other useful information about safety and security. The TIPS sheets also provide great links to other web sites where you can get additional information about personal and property safety and security.

This page represents our commitment to our key priorities of teaching proactive crime prevention strategies to members of the community. We believe that a safe community and safe community members are vital to Wellesley College's commitment to develop women who will make a difference in the world.

We will keep the information on this page updated to provide you with the most current crime prevention information. If you know of topic that we have not included on the TIPS page, please contact our webmaster, Lieutenant Philip N. Di Blasi, at ext. 3883.
