Lisa J. Barbin
Wellesley College
President

 

Lisa J. Barbin was named Chief of Police at Wellesley College in 2003. Chief Barbin graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Business Management from Bradford College. She also graduated from Bentley College where she earned a Masters in Business Administration. Chief Barbin is also a graduate of Northeastern University's School of Professional and Continuing Studies: Executive Leadership in Policing: The Chief's Forum. She also chaired the IACLEA Distance Learning Committee.

Prior to coming to Wellesley, she served as Chief of Police at Bradford College.

 


Ronald Guilmette
Merrimack College

Ron is the Chief of Police Services at Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts where he has served since June 2006.

Ron retired in 1999 as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Massachusetts State Police after thirty-one years of service. Chief Guilmette has a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College and Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts. He is also a graduate of the Senior Management Institute of Police.

Ernest H. Leffler was named Director of Public Safety / Chief of Police at Bentley College, located in Waltham, MA, in 1998. He received a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a Masters in Public Administration from Northeastern University. Prior to becoming the Chief at Bentley he served with the Northeastern University Public Safety Division for over 19 years. He is also a former North Atlantic Regional Director of IACLEA.

John D. Jackson
Babson College

John D. Jackson, Director of Public Safety for Babson and Olin Colleges, is the Immediate Past President of the Massachusetts Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (MACLEA). Jackson, a lifelong resident of Watertown, MA, became chief of campus police at Babson College in 2001 after serving more than thirty years on the Watertown Police Department, retiring as the Chief of Police. He received a B.A. in law enforcement from Northeastern University and an M.S. in Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College. Jackson is a graduate of the FBI's National Academy and the FBI's Law Enforcement Executive Development Program.
