Campus Escort Program If you must travel alone or feel unsafe, the Wellesley College Campus Escort Program provides all members of the Wellesley College community and visitors a safe, reliable way to travel about the campus during hours of darkness. Campus Police Assistants manage the program, including a shuttle van that makes regular stops along a pre-designated route, and walking escorts. All walking escort teams are equipped with a portable two-way radio for direct and immediate contact with the Police Department communications coordinator, a flashlight, and visible outer garments to enhance their safety and the safety of the person being escorted.Campus Police Assistants (CPAs) are Wellesley College students employed by the Wellesley College Police Department. Frequently Asked Questions: 1. Which escort is right for me?
2. Why can't the police just drive me to destination?
3. Why is the shuttle van late?
4. What is the schedule of the van?
5. What if I need an escort when the van is not running and the CPAs are not working?
