Course Information

The research methods courses in the Psychology Department are unique in many ways.
They have both 200-level content courses and statistics as prerequisites, in recognition that research requires both knowledge of the ideas and theories that characterize different areas of psychology, and the statistical tools necessary to make full and appropriate use of the data we collect.

You receive 1.25 credits for this class: the extra credit reflects the fact that this course
requires more time, both in-class and out of class, than 1.0 credit courses--you need to plan accordingly. You will spend LOTS of time outside of class finding and reading journal articles, running your studies, analyzing data, etc.
