Class of 2008 Commencement

On Friday, May 30, 2008, Cathie Black, president of Hearst magazines, addressed the 582 graduating seniors, their families and friends at Wellesley College’s 130th Commencement Exercises.
Kara Hadge served as the student Commencement Speaker.

Wellesley College also awarded its annual Anna and Samuel Pinanski Teaching Prize, recognizing teaching excellence, to Lee Cuba, sociology, Dennis Smith, biological sciences and Patricia A. Gray Berman, art history.
