Considerable work has taken place on the site of the former Henry Wood's paint factory site. The photos below, taken at the end of June, give an overview of some of the progress.

Aerial views from the south (left) and west (right) taken 6/28/02. The athletic field construction is visible with the softball field near Route 135, then moving counter-clockwise, the field hockey/lacrosse field and track, the soccer field, and recreation field. The beginning of the track construction is just visible. Restoration has begun on the wetlands along the east side of Paintshop Pond and in the southern wetlands along Lake Waban with light green new plantings just visible. The wooden pedestrian boardwalk has been constructed across the southern wetlands. |
