Considerable work has taken place on the site of the former Henry Wood's paint factory site. The photos below, taken at the end of March, give an overview of some of the progress.

Aerial views from the south (left) and west (right) taken 3/28/02. The containment area has been covered with the geosynthetic engineered barrier and then topped with 18 inches of clean, sandy-looking soil. Restoration work has begun on the wetlands along the east side of Paintshop Pond and in the southern wetlands along Lake Waban. The pedestrian boardwalk is being constructed across the southern wetlands. |
