The planned activities for the week of 4/15/02 are as follows:

  1. Continue storm drain installation along the south side of the Distribution Center building.
  2. Continue importing borrow.
  3. Continue granite work around Paintshop Pond dam (pending delivery of the remainder of the granite stone).
  4. Pour concrete "footing"/base for granite cheek stones.
  5. Installation of supplemental warning layer (snow fence) over portion of the engineered barrier.
  6. Touch-up grading of the Waban Brook channel and adjacent peat in the southern wetland.
  7. Continue subgrade and finish grading across site.
  8. Excavation of borrow soil from the softball field area.
  9. Placement of topsoil layer for surface restoration.
  10. Installation of monitoring well network is ongoing
  11. Decommission monitoring wells at MW-24 due to storm drain installation in close proximity

    Activities conducted during the week of 4/8/02 include:
  1. Continued installing peat in the wetland area along the edge of Paintshop Pond.
  2. Continued storm drain installation along the south side of the Distribution Center building.
  3. Continued granite work around Paintshop Pond dam.
  4. Placed channel stone subgrade.
  5. Installed supplemental warning layer (snow fence) over portion of the engineered barrier.
  6. Touch-up grading of the Waban Brook channel and adjacent peat in the southern wetland (not completed)
  7. Continued subgrade and finish grading across site.
  8. Excavation of borrow soil from the softball field area.
  9. Continued deliveries of off-site borrow soil.
  10. Placed topsoil in select areas.
