The planned activities for the week of 6/10/02 are as follows:

  1. Install armor stone in Waban Brook (pending stone delivery). Begin armoring channel adjacent to the granite stones (pending stone delivery).
  2. Continue removal of surface water bypass piping.
  3. Continue erosion control in wetlands, placing leaf mulch, and planting wetlands.
  4. Continue topsoil touch-up and seed.
  5. Begin water intake structure and pump station.
  6. Decommission/fill velocity dissipater.
  7. Continue storm drain work around site.

    Activities conducted from 5/20/02 - 6/7/02 include:
  1. Continued installing Waban Brook erosion controls (including slight deepening of brook and armoring at outside of bends).
  2. Recompacted the last lift in the track and field area to 95 percent.
  3. Continue erosion control in wetlands, placing leaf mulch, and started planting in wetlands.
  4. Continued placement of topsoil (with annual seed mix) and minor subgrade fine placement, grading, and compaction.
  5. Completed stone masonry around Paintshop Pond dam.
  6. Began and continued removal of Paintshop Pond diversion pump station, sheeting and piping.
  7. Continue placement of topsoil and seed.
  8. Mobilization and site preparation for water intake structure and pump station.
