The planned activities for the week of 3/11/02 are as follows:

  1. Install woven geotextile and sand borrow over the west field of the consolidation area.
  2. Install HDPE liner and geocomposite (scheduled for 3/12/02).
  3. Storm drain installation.
  4. Continue restoration work, including wetland restoration along the edge of PSP.
  5. Continue preparing subgrades across site.
  6. Erosion control maintenance.
  7. Placement and compaction of imported fill.
  8. May receive cut granite blocks.
  9. Continue health and safety air monitoring.

    Activities conducted during the week of 3/4/02 include:
  1. Completed boardwalk and bridge carpentry.
  2. Completed surcharge loading in west field of consolidation area.
  3. Continue managing soil and grading in the remaining consolidation area (west field area).
  4. Continued restoration work, including preparing subgrades across site.
  5. Shut off surface water diversion pumps.
  6. Placement and compaction of imported fill.
  7. Storm drain installation.
  8. Scraped down last of the haul road material and placed in the consolidation area.
  9. Installed woven geotextile and sand borrow over the west field of the consolidation area to prepare for HDPE liner installation (tentatively scheduled for 3/11/02).
  10. Removed drums of oil-contaminated soil from small spill (non-reportable) and cleanup.
  11. Continued health and safety air monitoring.
