The planned activities for the week of 5/13/02 are as follows:

  1. Continue preparing Waban Brook erosion controls (bio logs due early in week).
  2. Begin removal of Paintshop Pond diversion pump station (pending weather/flow conditions).
  3. Continue erosion control in wetlands, placing leaf mulch, and possibly start to plant wetlands.
  4. Continue site grading and placement of topsoil.
  5. Begin installing indicator strip around the engineered barrier.
  6. Installation of monitoring well network is ongoing.

    Activities conducted during the week of 5/6/02 include:
  1. Completed Phase I storm drain work.
  2. Continued subgrade and finish grading across site.
  3. Completed borrow soil excavation. Completed borrow import.
  4. Placement of topsoil layer for surface restoration.
  5. Granite work around PSP dam: including cheek stones and remainder of cap stones.
  6. Wetlands restoration subcontractor began installation of erosion controls.
  7. Steel work associated with the PSP Dam slide gate.
