Ann Velenchik

Ann Velenchik is an Associate Professor of Economics at Wellesley College where she teaches Microeconomics, Development Economics, and the Economics of Africa.

A member of the Wellesley College faculty since 1989, she received the B.S.F.S. degree from Georgetown University in 1982 and the Ph.D. degree from Stanford University in 1989. She served as the director of the Wellesley College Summer School from 1999-2000.

She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
