Lynne Spigelmire Viti is a senior lecturer in the Writing Program, where she teaches writing courses focused on law and cultural studies. Her recent publications include articles on the pedagogy of writing as well as short fiction and poetry.

A member of the Wellesley College faculty since 1987, Ms. Viti holds a B.A. from Barnard College; an M.A. in Teaching of English from Teachers
College, Columbia University; a Ph.D. in English literature from Boston College; and a J.D. from Boston College.
