TIMETABLE FOR WELLESLEY'S
COMMENCEMENT
FRIDAY, MAY 26TH
WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Senior Class Dean
Pamela Daniels will address the Class of 2000 -- the
class she helped steward through three of its four years
at Wellesley -- at the College's 122nd Commencement
exercises May 26. Media are welcome to cover all of the
day's events as outlined below. Click here for travel
directions. A campus map is at the bottom of the
page.
Commencement occurs, rain or shine, in a huge tent on
Severance Green near the center of the campus. All media
are required to check in at the press area in the tent.
Photographers will be escorted to the stage area.

Procession begins down Jewett Road, onto
Severance Green -- enters at back of tent
Seniors go first, stop outside tent and form two
lines, through which the faculty process (and
are applauded by the students)
Trustees follow faculty

Then students enter tent and take their
seats

Wellesley College is a prominent liberal arts college and
has been a leader in the education of women for nearly
