Educational & Institutional Cooperative
Service, Inc. is
a not-for-profit buying cooperative which provides goods
and services to its members at the best possible value.
The Cooperative is owned by its membership of close to
1500 tax-exempt colleges, universities, prep schools,
hospitals, medical research institutions and hospital
purchasing organizations located throughout the United
States.
With over 60 years of history, E&I is the largest
purchasing cooperative of its kind. The power of
cooperative purchasing enables E&I to negotiate
advantageous pricing for its members on a wide variety
of products and services. However, benefits of
cooperative membership go beyond advantageous
pricing.
In the near future, we will be providing information on
how to best take advantage of favorable E&I Contract
pricing.
We hope to assist the Wellesley College community with
moving into the 21st century.
