Class Lists-More Information

Online Class Lists-More Information

Once you see a class list on the screen or in print, most of the items are quite obvious. The lists are in sorted order, with registered students listed alphabetically first, followed by groups of students who are not registered in the class.

The Reg. Stat column indicates the registration status of students:

RE - registered

RW - web registered

QA,QR,QS,QT, Q5 course was requested, but the student could not be registered for the following reasons:

QA - requested but alternate used

QR - restrictions prevented registration

QS - required signature missing

QT - time conflict

Q5- An indication of what course a student may register for in the future as a 5th course. (During pre-registration, a student may only register for 4 courses)

any code with a D as the second letter indicates that the student has dropped the course

WL waitlisted

WW web waitlisted

The Reg. Seq column is useful only for those students who are on the waitlist. The number indicates the order in which the student attempted to register for the course, so a student with the lowest reg. sequence number and a WL status would actually be the first student on the waitlist.

If you choose the option to print the class list, you will be prompted to enter the printer queue. You should enter the name of the networked printer that is most convenient for you, most likely the same printer that you use to print your email.

If you download the list in either of the two formats, you will be asked to name the downloaded file and will be told the appropriate suffix that is added to this file name so it can be fetched into your word processing document or spreadsheet.

If you have questions about the content of the lists, please send me email (AHAMILTON) or call the Registrar's Office at X2307.

If you have questions about printing the lists or using the downloaded files, call the Helpdesk at X3333.
