ATTENTION Students enrolled in 370s:

April 29 is approaching fast! The Copy Center can help.

1. You must generate an original final draft to copy. You may run one original (and only one) on the laser printers in Clapp Library and the Science Center, but you must use the paper provided for the laser.

2. Departments WILL NOT pay for thesis copying (as a rule). Ask the department, not the Copy Center, about funding. If your department has no funds for thesis copies, you may pay cash at the Copy Center or commercial printer.

3. The Copy Center offers a variety of services.

4. DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE DEADLINE

Leave plenty of time to get the work done. The Copy Center will undoubtedly be crowded and machines can be out of service at the most inconvenient times. If you plan to use the self-service, give yourself time for the unexpected.

Remember that photocopies are not perfect. If you require perfection, you should seek a professional service.

5. Binding

The College does not require binding of the official (archival) copy of the thesis, although some departments may require it. If your department prefers a more permanent binding, we suggest spiral binding or cloth binding, both done at the Copy Center.
