WELLESLEY COLLEGE EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM

Wellesley College has purchased an Emergency Notification System that will alert everyone currently studying, teaching and working at Wellesley in the case of a campus emergency.

We will be using students' cell phone numbers for an emergency message via phone and text messaging as well as the Wellesley email address.

We need you to verify or enter your cell phone number by using Banner Self Service.

Log into Self Service, then click on the Student Menu. At the bottom of the menu, click on the link to see the cell phone information that we have on the system. If the number is correct, just exit from this menu; if no number is displayed or the information is not correct, please enter your number and click on the Submit button.

At this point in time, we will not call cell phones with international numbers, but it is a good thing to have this information in the system.

After an initial test of the entire system, we hope that we do not have to invoke emergency broadcasts, but we need to be prepared to do so if necessary.
