Departments and programs should approve all students
continuing from 360 to 370 by giving permission for honors students to register
for 370 during add/drop (if the student has not already registered).
In late-February an email will be sent to department
chairs, department assistants, honors students and honors advisors
with instructions to check the honors information on the CCI web page for details
regarding the honors
procedure.
March 2008
In mid-March an email will be sent to all tenured faculty members asking
if they are interested in serving as an honors visitor in fields outside
their department.

Email will be sent to chairs, program directors
and administrative assistants requesting a complete list of all students
in their department/program standing for honors - including students pursuing
alternative routes to departmental honors.
April 2008
By Friday, April 11, department chairs/program directors must submit the
names of all students standing for honors, as mandated
by Articles of Government.
By Tuesday, April 15, the honors advisor should send the following
information to Jennifer Lewis
name of student
name of department/program in which student is registered for a 370
Senior Thesis
name of honors visitor and her/his department/program
By 4:30 PM on Tuesday, April
29, 2008, one copy of the thesis must be
turned in to the Registrar's office. This copy is for the honors visitor.
Honors visitors may pick up their copy of the thesis, along with the honors
report form, in Jennifer's office (Room 336, Green Hall) on or after May 2.
May 2008
Oral exams normally scheduled during reading period, Thursday, May 8 and
Monday, May 12, 2008
After the oral exam is complete, the visitor is responsible for returning
her/his copy of the thesis and the honors report form to Jennifer's
office.
